I've been seeing the trend on the runways and high fashion magazines for the past few months and it is slowly getting released into the mainstream and into outlets that are affordable to the average fashionista, as opposed to those styles that have been put out by D&G and Dior. My Extended Vacation

Hello People! Just wanted to give an update as to why I haven't posted in a few weeks! As some of you may know, I have been overly enjoying the new chapter in my life! Travel, travel, shopping and more shopping! On the map for this month is Boca Raton, Malibu (yet again) and San Diego. I also have 2 vendor/shopping events this month ~ so August is a busy, busy month for me!

But quickly, I made my way out to Roseville/Galleria this weekend! Boy did Monica and I do damage to the bank accounts! Why does the Roseville Marshall's have the latest styles of Chinese Laundry and Jessica Simpson Shoes that are currently in Macy's? They also have some lovely Micheal Kor's sandal's that were all so comfortable! The Galleria was extra dead ON A SATURDAY, signs of this depressing era! But for those of us looking to spend, it made for great shopping because the entire mall was practically on Sale! So 4 pairs of shoes later, I report, for once I actually enjoyed shopping in the Sacramento Area! Amazing!

So what are your thoughts on the Destroyed, and Bleached Denim Trend that has made a come back? Yes, for you youngin’s that were not in the Salt-N-Peppa error, this trend is not new, but is yet again, a Come Back as are most fashions!

Hmmmmm, on some people like Rihanna, I love it because she has such a Swag about herself that she can pull off most anything. This is one of those things that you just have to rock right, or not rock it at all. It is a hit or miss type of fashion. Again, I say be ware, if you are on the thicker side. This is a style that will accentuate certain areas that should not be accentuated if you are on the thicka side! But you’ve got to love it on the Rihanna’s, Beyonce’s and Vera M’s! I’ll post the pick of me rockin mines later!!!

Mismatching ~ Fashion or Foe!

Ok, is it me or do the "Run-Way's" tend to go too far sometimes? Mismatching stripes, let alone any mismatching pattern combination is typically a miss. What's even worse is when you have a fashion savvy person that takes what they saw on the run way and attempts to get away with rocking a combination that they had absolutely no business whatsoever trying to rock. The bottom line is that we must remember that most things that are rocked on a Run Way in Milan were made for just that, the run way and not the streets, not the mall, not the club, not Melrose. It is FOR SHOW! It is typically not Cute. It is confusing to the eyes. In more cases than not, the typical person that tries to pull off mismatching patterns ends up looking like they have issues! So leave it to the run way! Don't try to replicate it.

Who would have known? I sure did not until last week. So there I was on one of my many shopping escapades in Southern California. I made my way to Ontario Mills and I almost lost it. It hurts sooooooo bad to see shoes that you’ve paid regular price for still on the shelf at a fraction of the cost. Literally! So what did I do? What I DO Best of course. I left with an armload of shoes that I didn’t need. They had my Jessica Simpson Salina Shoe for $19.99 with an ADDITIONAL 25% Off. WTF. A majority of the shoes that I just saw last week in the Arden Fair Mall Bakers was at the Ontario Mills Mall. I could go on and on and give you prices and styles, but that would only be torture. All I can say is “get there” or pay me to “get there” for ya!

Tye Dye’s! To Rock It or Knock It!

Huuummmmmmmmmmm. This is a pretty tricky~slicky one. While tye-dye is definitely Haute right now, it does not mean that it is haute on er’body! If you get my drift. First and for most, if you are trying to rep the tye dye and be cute and sexy about it, you’ve got to be cute naked to do so. Second of all, if you are over a size, ooohhhh let’s say 6, my advice to you is to leave it alone OR do not attempt to wear it below the waist. Tye-dye tank top, cute! Tye-dye dress, cute if subject is equal to or less than a size 6ish. Tye-dye leggings is equal to a hell-to-da-nawww if I might quote Whitney on this matter. Basically, you have got to really put some thought in your tye dye choices. All tye dye is not cute and tye dye is not for everyone. You’ve just got to have a certain tye-dye Swagg about yourself to pull it off without looking like a clown. Literally, a clown! So just remember; < or =" 6"> than 6 says Knock It! Off!
